What are EasyRead images?

 

EasyRead images are a pictorial communication tool to compliment a range of other communication methods.

 

These images are a visual tool and can be useful when communicating with individuals who may need or prefer an alternative to large paragraphs of text. They can show and represent the message or subject matter of the text.

EasyRead is an effective way of communicating without large paragraphs of text that can confuse or be off putting to individuals visiting your site. You may have both the full text content and an easy read version available to give your visitors the choice of how they wish to read the infomation provided.

 

 

 

 

Inspired Services

 

All the EasyRead images we use are provided by Inspired Services and require a user licence.

 

A user licence allows the use of the images on your website and the catalogue of nearly 2000 images are provided on a USB memory stick that is forwarded onto you for use, in accordance with Inspired Services terms of use.

 

We also offer an EasyRead translation service if required and can liaise directly with Inspired Services on your behalf to ensure that all your communication needs are met.
